Request a course if you can't find yours

How to request a course that is missing from the OneTutor catalogue and what happens next.

Written by Tobias Maier

Can't find your course in OneTutor? Then you can request it. Here is how.

When can you request a course?

If you search for your course in the course search (magnifying glass icon at the top right) and it is not in the catalogue, you can request it. Before you do, double-check the spelling of the course name and, if needed, ask your instructor for a course link or QR code.

How to request a course

  • Open OneTutor and search for your course in the course search.

  • If the course is not found, choose the option to request the course.

  • Enter the information about your course that the form asks for, for example the course name.

  • Submit the request.

What happens next?

Your request reaches OneTutor. This tells us that there is interest in this course.

Important: Whether you can use the course in OneTutor depends on whether the instructor creates the course in OneTutor and makes it available to learners. The request alone does not unlock the course. We also cannot promise when or whether a course will become available.

What else can you do?

  • Talk to your instructor and ask whether the course is offered in OneTutor.

  • If the course already exists, you usually get access through a course link or QR code from your instructor.

For instructors

If learners request your course, it cannot yet be found in OneTutor by them. Create your course in OneTutor and share it with your learners via course link or QR code. You can find instructions in the article Set up your first Course.
